The Super Hero Squad Show – Moving On (Ms. Marvel x Spider-Man)

Chapter 5 – Convoy Strike

You would think that a convoy ride would have been a great moment to bond with Ms. Marvel and get to know her better. But in Spider-Man's case that idea seems to be harder to achieve than he thought since his enemies just LOVED to show up whenever he intended to do something. He looked around while guarding the back door of the transport that held the Machina Code.

Thor was currently battling Electro using electricity against each other until Thor threw his hammer, but Electro quickly ducked down so the hammer would hit the Hulk instead. While Hulk got up he was tempted to throw a rock at Thor for hitting him but then Rhino charged into him.

"HAHA I'm stronger than you green bean!" Rhino started to swing Hulk around and threw him into Thor. Hulk was then electrocuted by Electro after he got back up causing Thor to be trapped under the unmoveable Hulk. Electro was then attacked by Falcon while he was being chased by Vulture.

Falcon and Vulture started throwing their feather like projectiles at each other either missing or barely stunning each other. Rhino picked up a nearby rock and aimed at Falcon but Scarlet Witch intercepted him by turning the rock into an upside down pie which fell out of the tray and fell on Rhino due to the way he was holding it.

Scarlet Witch then used her magic to summon some tyres and threw them at Electro but he easily melted them with his electricity. Scarlet threw more and Electro just melted each one as he got closer to the transport "You can't keep summoning tyres; you'll just tire yourself..." his confidence fell as he found that he couldn't move due to the sticky substance the melted tyres had been reduced to.

A few more tyres fell on Electro as he tried to melt his way out but only trapped himself as Scarlet Witch floated down towards him "Oh Electro, that colour looks so cool on you, non-conductive is your style!" She was suddenly struck in the back by Shockers vibration blasts.

Iron Man flew towards Shocker firing his Repulsor lasers at Shocker knocking him over and prompting him into firing a vibration blast. Doctor Octopus was busy trying to deal with Wolverine and Reptil, both of whom he was easily able to knock out with his tentacles as he made his way to the transport where Spidey engaged with more success due to his experience.

Hulk and Thor then charged towards Doc Ock as Rhino turned his attention to Spidey who was just knocking Shocker and Electro out.

Rhino smacked his fist against the webhead's chest sending him into a rock causing him to get stuck in the side of the rock as he groaned in pain. Rhino charged towards Spider-Man as he tried to peel himself from the wall, but Rhino was determined to put him down and increased his speed. But Rhino's wish of killing the Webhead was shattered when Ms. Marvel then landed in front of Spider-Man and reared her fist back.

"Leave him alone!" Rhino tried to slow down but it was no use as his face had collided with her fist, sending him tumbling backwards and skidding to a halt in the rocky ground.

Ms. Marvel turned her head as Spider-Man finally climbed out of the rock he was lodged in "Are you okay?"

"Aaah, back feels scarped and stings a lot, but I'll be fine."

Ms. Marvel helped him over to where the rest of the squad had just taken out the rest of the Sinister Six. "I'll make sure these lot are taken in without trouble, you lot get the Machina Code to the vault." She started commanding some of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to contain each member of the Sinister Six as the other heroes boarded the transport with the Machina Code on it and set off for the vault.

"Are you gonna be okay?" she asked with genuine concern in her voice. "Kinda, I think I'll ride inside for the rest of the trip." She helped Spidey on board and he sat onto the bench and he lifted his head up where his nose rubbed against Ms. Marvel's causing them both to stare at each other with a crimson blush rising on her face. She quickly leaves the transport as Spidey spends most of the trip thinking about how shy she looked while he was staring into her eyes. Their sparkle would stay with him for a while.

Luckily the Machina Code was perfectly fine when they loaded it off the truck. They rushed it inside and got it to the same part of the lab where they tried to reforge the Infinity Sword. Ant-Man and Mr. Fantastic had arrived soon after they had heard of the convoy strike and soon worked on making an adaptive device for the first Machina Code.

The Super Hero Squad and the rest of the Fantastic Four stood guard while Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Ant-Man, Spider-Man and Moon Knight worked on the device.

"Alright that should be it" Mr. Fantastic placed a panel over some wiring and stretched back over to the other heroes "now place the Machina Code in the middle of the dome".

Moon Knight walked up to the device and opened the dome that rested between the machinery. Opening a small hatch he placed the Machina Code in the middle and closed the hatch.

The screen on the computer underneath the dome suddenly sprung into life and Iron Man stepped towards it "This adaptive device should be able to help us link into this Machina Codes servos and give us information on where the others are."

Ant-Man spoke up "Well the other four should be close to Superhero city and if they aren't...."

"Wait wait wait...you know how many of these things there are?!?! Why didn't you say anything earlier?"

"You didn't ask." Iron Man groaned in aggravation at this late realization. Ant-Man continued "As I was saying if they aren't near Superhero City then we can use this." He reached into the dome that had the Machina Code in it and pulled a short cable from it. "This cable allows all 5 Machina Codes to connect with each other, we can connect this to any this device to extract its data."

Mr. Fantastic then approached the device to connect it to the USB port in the side of the dome "Since you know about these Machina Codes is it possible that you know how the Villains may have known about it?"

Ant-Man's expression dropped "I'm afraid that it is most likely that Ultron hacked into my files and stole all the information he needed, he can easily link his brain to any machinery which is probably why he is able to decode the locations of each Machina Code." The others noticed his guilty tone of voice, Ultron was his creation after all and he never intended to create one of their greatest threats.

Spider-Man became curious about one thing "Is there any reason why you think Ultron would want to help the villains?" Ant-Man turned his attention to him and replied "It's most likely to use the power of the Codes for himself." This caught everyone's attention.

"You see the Machina Codes allow whoever uses them to control technology with their mind in ways such as creating weapons and armour or by using them to control all electronical devices around them. If they are controlled by a sentient being like Vision and Ultron or someone wearing armour like Tony or Dr. Doom then that power would be potentially limitless."

Moon Knight took all this into account "Then I suppose we keep our eyes and ears peeled for when the next ones come out of hiding." Iron Man nodded at this.

"I'm going to let S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best scientist's monitor this Codes process while we try and keep crime under control until we know where the next one is. I'm going to head back to the Helicarrier with the Super Hero Squad."

Ant-Man decided to stay at the vault to work on the Machina Code as Ultron was his responsibility and he wanted to make up for allowing him to know about the codes. Mr. Fantastic and the rest of the Fantastic Four headed back to the Baxter Building as Spider-Man and Moon Knight followed the Super Hero Squad back to the Helicarrier.

Once they had arrived Spider-Man went over to Ms. Marvel to make sure if the Sinister Six was taken care of. Hopefully he would get the chance to continue their conversation from earlier. "Hey Ms. How did the Sinister Six go?"

She turned her attention to him "Well we've set up an insulated chamber so Electro can't use electricity to escape and we've fitted shock absorbers around Shocker's cell. We've had to keep a close eye on the others if they regain conscious so we can get there cells ready."

"Okay then, just wanted to make sure." Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel fell silent trying to find something to talk about. Spider-Man considered asking her out but it seemed too early, so he decided to get to know her better "What's it like being the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

"Well it keeps you on your toes and some days are easier than others, but as of right now I've got nothing special to do. By the way, I saw Doc Ock crush your wrists were your web shooters alright?" Spidey's eyes sprung up in late remembrance.

"Oh yeah, I've gotta fix my web shooters, I'll talk to ya later." As he was turning around Ms. Marvel walked up alongside him and asked "Hey uh, since I've got nothing to do...could show how your web shooters work?"

"I'm only going to be fixing them."

"Yeah, but I'm interested. I can help fix them if you want." Spider-Man then thought it could be a good chance to hang out with her, it was the first time any lady was interest in anything he was doing after all.

They started to walk down the Helicarrier "Well I originally made them a few days after I got my powers..."
